The project was a varied and complex development, requiring a sensibility and sensitivity towards the refurbishment of 6 adjoining terraced Protected Structures, with complex integration of modern services and fire and safety systems. Further more, the project included the extension of the historic buildings into new Grade A contemporary office accommodation, linked with a glazed atrium and requiring extensive site excavation and multi-level basement construction. BKRN excelled in the delivery of the building, with a clear ability to communicate to design team professionals and the client, as well as managing a wide and complex team of subcontractors. The development was delivered to a high standrad of finish, in line with a very high level of expectation set by the architect and client.

BKRN were appointed as Project Supervisor Construction Stage (PSCS) on our apartment development at Prospect Bay, Clontarf. The project comprised 31 high-end residential apartments, including a mix of one-, two- and three-bed units, delivered on a tight and technically challenging site. In addition to their PSCS role, BKRN effectively acted as the main contractor on the construction side of the project. Throughout the build, they were extremely easy to deal with and demonstrated a very high level of knowledge and experience in the delivery of apartment schemes. They were proactive in identifying potential difficulties and risks as the project progressed and engaged constructively and early in developing practical, timely solutions. Overall, our experience working with BKRN was very positive. I would have no hesitation in recommending them and would gladly work with them again on future projects.

I found Mr. Fahey and the BKRN team to be of the highest integrity, competence and personal standards of excellence. He manifestly took great professional pride in his work and dealing with him was invariably a pleasure besides as he combined his expertise with notable easiness of temperament and approachability. All of this greatly reduced the inevitable stress such works cause in a school.
